Joseph Gaber (Obituary) Joseph Gaber 90, of Red Lake Falls, died Friday afternoon, at a Grand Forks hospital, where he had been a patient for two weeks. He had been a resident of Hillcrest Nursing Home, Red Lake Falls, for several years. Mr. Gaber was born March 12, 1882, at Millerville, rural Evinsville Minn. the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Gaber He married. Anna Prodahl an Feb. 10, 1903 at Millerville. They farmed at Millerville until 1929 when they moved to Euclid where they farmed until retiring. Seven sons served with the armed forces during World War II, with two serving in the Korean conflict. Survivors include seven sons Adam Gaber of Fertile, Edward and David of Euclid, Louis and Victor of Red Lake Falls Raymond of Shakopee and Dominic of Pueblo, Colo., one daughter, Mrs. Rayton (Lonie) Dargon of St. Hilaire; 28 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, two sons, two brothers, and four sisters. The Liturgy of the Funeral will be offered for Joseph Gaber at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday from St. Dorothy's Catholic Church Dorothy with the Rev. Gerald Foley officiating. Interment- will be in the church cemetery. Friends, and relatives may call at the Petterson Funeral Home,Red Lake Falls, Monday afternoon and evening beginning at 3 p.m. with recitation of the prayrs at 8 p.m. Burial: July 1972, St Dorothy Catholic Cemetery Dorothy MN

Mrs. Joseph Gaber Of Euclid Died Saturday Mrs. Joseph K. Gaber, 71, resident of the Euclid area since 1929, died late Saturday night, April 9, at the Oakland Park Rest home at Thief River Falls. She had suffered a broken hip last fall but had been in failing health for the past two years. The deceased was born October 13, 1883 in Otter Tail county to John and Mary Prodhal and was married February 10, 1903, at Millerville to Joseph Gaber, who survives as do eight sons and a. daughter, Adam of Fertile, Joseph A. of Idaho Springs, Colo., Edward of Euclid, Victor of Dorothy, Raymond of Shakopee, Dominic of Pueblo, Colo., David of Euclid and Mrs. Rayton Dargon of Dorothy. Six brothers who live in Saskatchewan, also survive as do a number of grandchildren. A son George, three brothers and a sister preceded her in death. Mrs. Gaber farmed with her husband and family in the Euclid vicinity until 1949 when they retired to that village. During World War II, the deceased had seven sons serving in the armed forces and one of those later served in Korea. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at St. Mary's Catholic church at Euclid with interment in St. Dorothy's cemetery. The body of the deceased lay in state Monday and Tuesday nights at the Petterson Funeral Home in, Red Lake Falls.
